Fexco<\/a> Group, has acquired\u00a0 Sainsbury\u2019s Travel Money, to enhances its position in the UK retail foreign<\/a> exchange (FX) market.\"Fexco\"<\/p>\n

The agreement will see Fexco assume full operational control of Sainsbury\u2019s Travel Money, including its digital infrastructure and an extensive physical network of more than 220 in-store bureaux de change. The integration of operations is expected to complete by early 2026.<\/p>\n

This acquisition nearly doubles Fexco\u2019s UK retail presence, expanding its network to over 460 locations nationwide. More strategically, it unlocks access to Sainsbury\u2019s extensive customer ecosystem, including over 18 million Nectar members creating new opportunities to deliver added value through seamless, omni-channel travel money solutions.<\/p>\n

By combining Sainsbury\u2019s trusted in-store presence with Fexco\u2019s advanced FX technology and operational expertise, the partnership sets a new benchmark in customer-centric travel money services. The Sainsbury\u2019s Travel Money brand will continue to operate across all existing channels, ensuring service continuity while enabling future enhancements in speed, convenience and choice for consumers.<\/p>\n

Customers will experience no immediate changes. Travel money services will continue to be available both online and across all existing Sainsbury\u2019s bureaux, under the same brand they know and trust.<\/p>\n
