Orbital<\/a>, a cross-border payments<\/a> platform, has partnered with ClearBank<\/a> to offer enterprise customers real-time euro clearing and access to SEPA.<\/p>\n

The move is intended to address longstanding inefficiencies in international payments, where businesses often face high costs, lengthy settlement times and fragmented infrastructure when transferring funds across Europe. By integrating ClearBank Europe\u2019s real-time clearing and embedded banking capabilities, Orbital says it will provide faster, more transparent euro transactions supported by full compliance checks.<\/p>\n

For corporate treasury teams, managing cross-border payments typically requires stitching together multiple payment rails from SWIFT and FX services to stablecoins and local settlement networks to meet different operational and liquidity needs. Orbital\u2019s combined offering is designed to simplify this process through direct SEPA connectivity, named IBANs, and instant credit transfers, alongside additional treasury tools such as stablecoin settlement and local payout options.<\/p>\n

The company says its unified payments platform will enable businesses to cut costs typically associated with international euro transfers, such as foreign exchange charges, while providing greater visibility over cash flow, reconciliation, and counterparty identification. The integration is underpinned by ClearBank Europe\u2019s established regulatory and compliance framework, including AML and KYC checks, aimed at supporting high-volume and multi-jurisdictional businesses.<\/p>\n

Chris Mason, Chief Executive of Orbital Group<\/strong>, said, \u201cStablecoins are moving into the mainstream and we\u2019re seeing an influx of enterprises looking to use digital assets to improve cash and treasury management, especially across borders. But stablecoins are sandwiched between fiat on\/off rails. If those rails aren\u2019t real-time, then the overall payment flow isn\u2019t either.
