Built for interoperability and rapid deployment, FIUSD will be accessible through Fiserv\u2019s global network of over 10,000 financial institutions and six million merchants, processing over 90 billion transactions annually.<\/p>\n<p>FIUSD is being developed with Paxos and Circle Internet Group, Inc., digital asset infrastructure providers. The stablecoin will initially be available via the Solana blockchain, which is widely recognised for its speed and reliability in enterprise-grade tokenised transactions. Future iterations may also explore deposit token models, ensuring capital efficiency for banks while preserving stablecoin benefits.<\/p>\n<p>In line with Fiserv\u2019s vision of enabling finance without compromising trust or oversight, FIUSD will be offered at no additional cost through existing Fiserv platforms, including Experience Digital, Commercial Centre, and the Finxact core banking system. Delivered through an easy-to-integrate SDK, the solution will incorporate built-in compliance capabilities such as fraud detection, risk controls, settlement monitoring, and regulatory reporting.<\/p>\n<p>This approach allows financial institutions to maintain complete ownership of the customer journey while expanding their product offerings with 24\/7 programmable digital money.<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead, Fiserv plans to expand the FIUSD platform to support broader use cases ranging from real-time treasury management and cross-border settlement to programmable disbursements and financial inclusion initiatives.
