The raise includes C$33 million in equity financing led by Tribe Capital, a C$71 million credit facility from Coventure (Treville), and C$4 million in venture debt from Silicon Valley Bank.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"806\" data-end=\"1038\">The fresh capital will support Keep\u2019s mission to tackle the persistent cash flow and operational challenges faced by Canada\u2019s three million small businesses, which currently contribute over C$500 billion to the national economy.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1040\" data-end=\"1425\">Despite their critical role, Canadian small businesses have long been underserved by traditional banks offering outdated tools, inflexible underwriting, and poor customer support. Keep seeks to bridge this gap, providing a technology-driven alternative designed specifically for the nuances of the Canadian market, including tax systems, regulatory requirements, and cross-border needs.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1427\" data-end=\"1488\">\u201cTraditional banks have failed Canadian entrepreneurs for too long,\u201d said <strong>Oliver Takach, Keep\u2019s Co-founder and CEO<\/strong>. \u201cWe are building the financial operating system that Canada&#8217;s small businesses actually need \u2013 one that provides the technology, tools, and services to help them thrive.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"2033\">Takach, a two-time Y Combinator founder, brings deep entrepreneurial insight to the problem. In 2019, he bootstrapped a business to C$2 million in revenue, confronting first-hand the fragmentation and inefficiencies of existing financial tools.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1789\" data-end=\"2033\">\u201cKeep was born from my frustration with fragmented systems and banking inefficiencies,\u201d he explained. \u201cWe are building what I desperately needed back then.\u201d<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2198\" data-end=\"2234\">Keep\u2019s integrated platform includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-start=\"2238\" data-end=\"2285\">Canada\u2019s first FinTech business credit card<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2288\" data-end=\"2320\">Automated expense management<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2323\" data-end=\"2350\">Multi-currency accounts<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2353\" data-end=\"2381\">Flexible global bill pay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2383\" data-end=\"2521\">These features are designed to streamline operations and replace the fee-heavy, siloed solutions that continue to hinder SMB productivity.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2564\" data-end=\"2826\">Keep has already onboarded over 3,000 small businesses across multiple industries.
