\"GrowwIndian investment platform Groww<\/a> is in the final stages of acquiring Bengaluru-based wealth management firm Fisdom<\/a> in an all-cash transaction valued at around $150 million (INR 1,250 crore), multiple media reports suggest.<\/p>\n

If confirmed, the proposed deal marks a significant consolidation move in India\u2019s burgeoning digital investment and wealth management space. Reports suggest the transaction will be entirely funded in cash and will likely lead to the integration of Fisdom\u2019s team and offerings into Groww\u2019s broader platform.<\/p>\n

Fisdom’s B2B Footprint May Complement Groww\u2019s Retail Play<\/strong><\/p>\n

Founded in 2015, Fisdom has built a presence through its B2B2C distribution model. Through banking partnerships<\/a>, the platform offers mutual funds, tax filing services, insurance and more. The platform counts institutions such as PNB, Indian Bank, and Bank of Maharashtra among its key collaborators.<\/p>\n

The acquisition could allow Groww to broaden its distribution footprint, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, and potentially strengthen its partnerships with traditional financial institutions.<\/p>\n

Reports indicate that Fisdom\u2019s backers\u2014Quona Capital, Elevation Capital, PayU and others\u2014are expected to fully exit the company as part of the deal. The Fisdom management team, including co-founder and CEO Subramanya S V, may join Groww post-acquisition.<\/p>\n
