Adyen is the first global Payment Service Provider to launch Klarna simultaneously on all physical payment terminals worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The move is a significant milestone for Klarna, which has been steadily growing its presence in physical stores and strong online presence in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>The launch builds on Klarna and Adyen\u2019s long-standing partnership, simplifying payments and improving the customer experience for online retailers worldwide. After this pilot phase, the new offering should be available for a wider rollout during October.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe want consumers to be able to pay with Klarna at any checkout, anywhere,\u201d said <strong>David Sykes, Chief Commercial Officer at Klarna<\/strong>. \u201cOur strong partnership with Adyen gives a massive boost to our ambition to bring flexible payments to the high street in a new way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adyen is one of the leaders in the in-person payments solutions industry, with over 450,000 devices ranging from countertop devices to mobile terminals.<\/p>\n<p>Adyen is launching Klarna\u2019s Dynamic QR solution. To make a payment, the customer scans a QR code displayed on the Adyen terminal and completes the transaction on their mobile device. The customer can pay using one of Klarna\u2019s interest-free <a href=\"https:\/\/ibsintelligence.com\/ibsi-news\/klarna-and-xero-bring-buy-now-pay-later-to-small-businesses\/\">BNPL<\/a> payment methods and can keep track of the purchase in their Klarna app, alongside all their other purchases.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re excited to work together on this pilot, offering shoppers a new, flexible way to pay that will redefine the in-store experience,\u201d said <strong>Alexa von Bismarck, President of EMEA at Adyen<\/strong>. \u201cThis launch highlights the strength of our collaboration with Klarna as we bring their Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) payment method to in-store terminals for the first time.
