Finastra has announced the appointment of Andrew Bateman<\/a> as EVP of Lending.<\/p>\n

Reporting to Finastra CEO Simon Paris, Bateman brings almost 30 years of experience in financial services. He excels in guiding global teams in modernising technologies through technical agility and supporting customers\u2019 growth agendas. In addition, he is committed to promoting inclusion, diversity and sustainability within the industry and strongly advocates for workplace well-being and open communication.<\/p>\n

Bateman joins Finastra from FIS, where he was most recently Head of Sales for Corporates and International Banking. He will be responsible for leading and growing Finastra\u2019s Lending Business Unit.<\/p>\n

Speaking on his appointment, Bateman said, \u201cJoining Finastra is an exciting step, and I can\u2019t wait to meet the team and our customers and partners to help support their technology modernisation journeys. I am captivated by Finastra\u2019s Open Finance approach, and alongside its Gen-AI, cloud and API technology strategy, I believe in the compelling offerings we bring as a company.\u201d<\/p>\n

Finastra is a global provider of financial services software applications across Lending, Payments<\/a>, Treasury and Capital Markets, and Universal (retail and digital) Banking.<\/p>\n
