There have been multiple innovations and implementations in the field that have changed the way we bank. And in sync, we have seen an increase in the number of Neo, Challenger, and Digital Banks all across the world.<\/p>\n<p>The IBSi NeoChallenger Bank Awards 2022 identified and honoured technology players and digital banks for their excellence in driving impact through banking technology implementations and innovations using emerging technologies with 27 winning tech implementations.<\/p>\n<p>We evaluated 105 tech project implementations at Neo, Challenger, and Digital Banks from 34 countries and 83 banks this year across 16 award categories. The awards were split into three main categories:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer Segment\/Focus:\n<ul>\n<li>Consumer, SME\/Corporate, Wealth, RegTech, Blockchain, and Islamic Finance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Type of Impact Achieved:\n<ul>\n<li>Customer Experience, Innovation in Offering, Implementation Excellence, and Program Impact.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Regional Winners:\n<ul>\n<li>Americas, Asia, Australia, Europe, and the Middle East.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Nikhil Gokhale, Head of Research, IBS Intelligence,<\/strong> said: \u201cDigital banks is shaping up to be the preferred choice of banking for today\u2019s digitally savvy users. More people are shifting to digital banks, predominantly driven by the convenience and superior customer journey that these banks provide.
